o Can schedule an exam in our area, need 5 or more people. $50 for the first attempt, $30 to retake.
- Need to take test to get certified. There is learning material on the bjcp website, and setting up study groups is encouraged.

o Chocolate mint beer – Food science group presented on project
§ Used Hershey’s natural chocolate
§ Mint added via teabag, in differing strengths to test flavor profile.
§ Base is chocolate malt, carapils,2 row, flaked barley
- Mashed at 157, various testing with steeping times

o You can buy reverse osmosis water and dilute with city water so that salts (__CHO3) are diluted. This isn’t technically treating water, just diluting it.
